- What does design for circularity mean? Design for circularity is a new approach to product design that considers the entire life cycle: from conception, production, use, and end-of-life recovery. Design for circularity requires products made with raw materials from organic and/or recycled sources. The product must have mechanical assembly solutions that facilitate assembly/disassembly, replacement, repair, and easy end-of-life recovery. Distinctive features also include the avoidance of glues and secondary processes that risk compromising recovery.
- What is additive manufacturing? Additive manufacturing is a production process that allows a product to be created by layering thermoplastic materials. Only the necessary material is used, and it is a zero-waste, on-demand process that minimizes resource waste and unsold inventory.
- Is it possible to customize ZERO? Yes, absolutely. Three categories are available, highlighted in the technical data sheet: ESSENTIAL – CURATED – PREMIUM, which are characterized by various factors, including 3D printing materials and surface finishes. Upon request, the seat can be upholstered with technical fabrics or more luxurious fabrics such as cotton velvet.
