Cartoccio is a floor lamp that has its roots in a 1999 sketch.
The first prototype remained hidden for a long time, as if waiting for the right time to reveal itself. Today, it presents itself in a contemporary guise, preserving the expressive power of the original design. The copper diffuser, the beating heart of the lamp, is supported by three steel legs that slenderize its silhouette, lending it majesty and elegance. The holes, distributed with varying diameters, generate a suggestive play of light and shadow that reflects in the room, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The copper, with its warm hue, envelops the light and transforms it into a soft amber hue.
Cartoccio is ideal for intimate and cozy living spaces, perfect for bedrooms as an evening light, but also for studies and offices where relaxing, enveloping lighting is desired. An engineer by training and fascinated by humanist philosophers, he grew up in a creative environment, deeply influenced by the works of his architect father. After years of experience at major Italian design and fashion companies, including EssilorLuxottica and Fendi, he chose to return to his native San Giovanni Rotondo, in Puglia, to found a company that combined authentic ethics and craftsmanship.
