TRILObyME was designed to meet the ever-present need for portable and compact tools: the result is a practical case.All the creativity of the CENTO3 multifunctional device is contained in 10cm, Achille Castiglioni's latest design: from pen to pencil, from pastel to highlighter in one gesture.
How much and when do you need a writing instrument? A lot, and often. It helps you make the inevitable lists of good intentions, jot down important information (cell phones always leave us in the lurch), write a poem, reproduce the shape of clouds, combat stress by playing with them, but also create an improvised pendulum or complete crossword puzzles. And, of course, it helps you write, draw, give substance to your thoughts, and write down your own story.A writing instrument is useful for everyone, creative or otherwise. TRILObyME is the perfect solution for having more than one always at hand.
Literally: because TRILObyME is a pencil case, a creative kit, a portable atelier for everyday use. Thanks to the 12 color variants—graphene black, red, British green, gold, frankincense, myrrh, intense yellow, natural ivory, calm blue, neon pink, deep blue, pearl white—it also becomes an "essential accessory" to match your style choices. The project, conceived and created since 2022 by Egoundesign, continues the legacy of CENTO3, the multifunctional pen designed in 2001 by Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Cavaglià: the latest project of the "Cici", engineered and created by EGOUNDESIGN in 2021, in collaboration with architect Cavaglià and the Achille Castiglioni Foundation.
TRILObyME was born from the need to have all the 6 interchangeable functionsby CENTO3: ballpoint pen with black ink, lead graphite, watercolor crayons in red and blue, dry eraser markers in yellow and green, as well as an eraser and sharpener. The pencil case closes with playful magnetic caps on both sides that can be swapped for a two-tone effect. The pen is characterized by its compact size, the ergonomic trilobate shape—a tribute to the CENTO3 signature—, zero-waste 3D printing using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology, and the material used—PLA (polylactic acid)—derived from renewable and plant-based raw materials, compostable, biodegradable, and exceptionally versatile.
