Continua is a modular bookcase system which can be assembled freely by following just a few rules.
The system is composed of rectangular plywood modules and a vertical grid of aluminum bars.
Conceived as a bookcase, Continua can be used to organize, divide, or even create a room within a room thanks to its many configurations. Its innovative curved shape makes it particularly suitable for offices and shops, as well as frequently rearranged display spaces.
We want to think that the use of this piece of furniture can evolve over time: for example, from a bookcase to a green wall—useful in case the digital revolution turns all our books into bits—and for this reason we are implementing Continua with a low-tech integrated irrigation system that distributes water in specially designed flowerpots.
The Continua system was awarded the BIG SEE Design Award 2024 in the HOM category.
With Continua Arkitettoria, he designed a tool for organizing space. The project must be:

Tanja and Federico have been collaborating successfully since university, perfectly complementing their skills. In 2018, they founded Arkitettoria with the aim of designing furniture and home accessories according to sustainable and circular design criteria.
