The Sfere bracelet is the first in a long series of designer jewelry from the Milanese brand San Lorenzo, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1990. It was born almost playfully from a simple and traditional idea: the bracelet is composed of the primary elements of silver spheres and a black or colored thread, with the addition of the San Lorenzo brand and the designers' signature.
A well-established and bourgeois type of jewelry, the string of pearls, is reinvented in silver by the Scarpas. The string itself is the surprise of this collection. It comes in a variety of colors and becomes an integral part of the design, like the pearl, demonstrating that "service" elements can often hold surprises.
